“Ottorino Respighi”

The first Chuo City Cultural Centre concert of 2005 will feature Ottoorino Respighi.
He is famous for his symphonies, ‘Roman Trilogy’ and are representative of Italian music.
He began his musical career as a violinist, and studied the violin and piano at the same time.
In this concert, we will be performing works from his time as a student at the Bologna Conservatory,
and the violinist Mauro Iurato, an Italian, and Mariko Sano, who studied in Italy,
will perform a fresh and profound performance coloured by the unmistakable Italian style.
