The program features Brahms’ Sonata No. 1.
This year’s program is the III of the series, and in addition to Handel and Beethoven, whom Brahms looked up to, the program will feature Bartók, 20th century music with elements of folk music, and “Improvvisazioni” by the contemporary Italian composer Giorgio Ferrari, performed solo on the violin.

– Ferrari “Improvvisazioni” (for violin solo)
– Brahms “Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 1 in G major, Op. 78 “Rain Song”
